TINA GAMBHIR

Dr. Tina Gambhir, M.J., RHIA professional, educator, mentor, consultant and leader in the HIM industry for the past 11 years. Gambhir attended college at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California and received her BS degree in HIM. Furthermore, became a health information management consultant for long term care facilities while teaching at various teaching institutions and held program director positions at ITT-Tech, Westwood College and Northern Virginia Community College, Prince George Community College and Great Falls College Montana State University. Gambhir is an Author and has published a book, Gratitudeness and Understanding Your Medical Records. Dr. Gambhir is the founder of Practice Gratitude, LLC focusing on professional speaking, health law, health information management topics and education.

Dr. Gambhir completed her Masters at Loyola Law School in Chicago-focusing on health law. Held the position of Director of Education for District of Colombia Health Information Management Association (DCHIMA). In addition, Dr. Gambhir is an editorial board member panel for AHIMA Perspectives and is a Board Member for Purdue University Global Health Sciences Program. Also, serves as an advisor to Washington DC ArchAngels. Furthermore, has received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
